Event Sites

In the past, every time someone decided to autocrat an event in our shire the process of hunting down good sites has been started from scratch. In looking for a site for Aethelmearc Academy in the fall of 2000 I decided to document my findings for future autocrats. Below is the site info I have gathered so far. I try to update this information every time I do an event. Given the sporadic nature of site searches the information should not be viewed as absolute. Site rules will change and site managers come and go. This is merely a guideline to help autocrats in our group find and secure event sites.

The information below represents over 80 hours of phone calls, internet searches, and site visits to find the right contact people, gather the information, drive to and photo sites, and other related work. I'd like to thank Lady Juliana Delamere for helping with almost every phase of this process. I'd like to thank Lord Bjorn bunhauss Olafsson for the aerial and topo maps.
