I found you when you were hurt and brought you in.
And you were there for me when I was hurt.
You never asked for much.
But what you gave was enormous.
You were there for me when others left me.
As others are there for me now that you have left.
You were the most gracious of gentlemen.
I only wish I could be the same.
You gave your love freely to all.
I didn't know how much I loved you until you were gone.
You were my best friend.
And I was yours.
Many have known you, some have loved you, but none will miss you as much as I.
