My Looms

Here are some of the looms I use in weaving. Unfortunately I'm not a very good photographer so most of the pics didn't come out. Here's a small sample in the meantime.

This is a purchased inkle loom. The weaving on it is a sample I use for classes and demos to let others try weaving out.

Above is my 8 harness fabric loom. The piece on it was my first solo project on it and was turned into a rectangular cape.

This is a floor loom I built to do long lengths of trim on. I used a modification of the open faced inkle design. Note the lack of a peg at the top of the front post to get a longer shed. I also put in 2 tensioning pegs since I expect a lot of take up in the 12 yards this loom warps at. The piece on it is the last of the trim for a Viking tunic I'm working on.
